Here's my
translation of an interview from In Style
You have a great skin. How do you take care of it?
Anja: First of all, I wash it, almost obsessively. I love cleanliness, I take a shower even 3 times a day. I don't travel without a
Bioderma Crealine H2O cleanser. After shows, especially after wearing heavy makeup, I do a peeling - it unblocks pores and makes my skin smooth. Sometimes I use a moisturizing mask after that. For really good cleaning (peeling) of my face I make an appointment with
Beauty Studio in Czestochowa. I trust only one beautician, Mrs Irenka whose I've been visiting since I was a kid
(phone number: 0 508 335 902)
Do you buy cosmetics in Poland?
Anja: I buy some. I adore nail polishes from
Inglot, especially a black one. You only need to colour one layer to have an intensive colour. I also use a moisturizing
Lirene cream with an extract from flax and I stock up on under eye gel from
Flos-Lek in a pharmacy. Every day I apply a small layer of that gel on my eyelid, and after shows a larger layer, like a mask. I have a sensitive skin, I'm allergic to eye shadows in gel. If I want to have a smoky eye, instead of applying gloss, I use a layer of gel from Flos-Lek. Result is the same.
But you probably visit a hairdresser in New York?
Anja: I bleach my hair. (...) My friend from Israel, Shay Ashual, takes care of my hair colour. He calls me saying "I saw you at the show yesterday, you need to dye your hair". I buy a bottle of red wine and I come to see him, about once every 3 weeks. We laugh, gossip, so dyeing lasts even 5-6 hours. I have to explain my boyfriend that dyeing is a very complicated process and it takes a lot of time.
Do you have beauty days?
Anja: It's not my style. Being at SPA for a day is just boring, I prefer reading. If my skin needs help, I use a 10-minutes nutritious mask
SK-II, I sit in front of my computer and I eat hazelnuts. I'm addicted to Internet, hazelnuts, peanuts and walnuts.
How do you keep your figure?
Anja: There's problems with eating. Accodring to Chineese horoscope, I'm a pig which means that I'm never enough of eating. I try to eat small portions, but often and I drink a lot of water. It happens that I try some diet, but I immediately end it because I can't stand regime and limitations. I've recently tried a miracle diet, popular in the U.S: you don't eat anything, just drink water with lemon and maple syrup. I gave up after a few hours. I do yoga, I swim, and I do scuba-diving during holidays. That's enough for now. I'm obsessive about cellulite. I massage thighs every morning and night, 30 circular moves on every leg. I have a nice collection of massage gloves in my bathroom.
