Ankle boots + skirts...

the shape of those chanel boots is really appealing, but im not crazy about all the grommets.

ankle boots and skirts were worn pretty well in the prada f/w 2005 show...

I kind of had a bit of a go.... though this isn't really new territory for me.... I tend to wear flared out A- line skirts with ankle boots but thought I would try out differnet skirt styles with different boots and see what happened....

I like the idea of a sweater dress and ankle boots though...would have to be a particlar kind of 'forgiving' sweaterdress

I've experienced it depends on the length of the skirt. I have a pair of black miu miu ankle boots, and they look great with a short skirt, but crap with a long pencil skirt-even though I have very long legs.

love the look! it's all about the right proportions though. if the boot hits the wrong place, your leg's gonna look stumpy. imho, a bootie with a little "decolleté" looks best. any kind of foot cleavage will elongate the leg and do wonders for the overall look.

Unless you have Agyness' legs I think it looks best when the boots aren't skinny at the ankle, well in most cases that is..
Personally I'll be wearing it with minidresses and tights throughout fall and winter..
