Anna Nicole Smith's son died at 20 yrs old in the Bahamas

I wish Perez Hilton would just shut up sometimes. How can you discuss Lilo knickerless one minute and then speculate on someone's death the next?

Well said.

Perez may turn out to be right, but until an autopsy is done, it seems so cruel to speculate, especially about things like an overdose.

Hmmm...I've been on anti-depressants, have heart problems, and have had episodes of uncontrollable vomiting with blood and bile involved. It's an illness caused by nothing I did, but if I were famous I guess I'd be ODing in a suicide attempt :innocent:

Sometimes, Perez, people throw up and have heart attacks because they're....wait for it....sick!

Not to mention vomiting can be a warning sign of a heart attack.

I agree that Perez was a bit out of line. The Superficial (pretty sure it was them) made a joke about the whole thing yesterday likening it to a soap opera and ending the report with a joke! I thought it was sick. This is such a tragedy as it is, the last thing those close to victim need is speculation, rumors, lies, and jokes. Geesh...can't people grieve in peace anymore?

The people who run those websites have major personality problems.

Poor Anna Nicole. Her son was so young.

The death of Anna Nicole Smith's 20-year-old son, Daniel, in the Bahamas Sunday was not due to natural causes, PEOPLE has learned exclusively.

"The cause of death is not natural," Her Majesty's Coroner Linda P. Virgill tells PEOPLE. "However, we wish to reserve the cause of death at this time pending the toxicologist examination and report for confirmation of cause of death. Friday is the likely release date for the autopsy and toxicology report."

Daniel Smith was found sitting upright in a chair after going to see his mother and his new half-sister in the private Doctors Hospital in Nassau, Reginald Ferguson, assistant commissioner of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, told reporters late Monday.

"It would appear from our report that the mother had gotten up, saw him in the chair and he appeared to be sound asleep. She tried to wake him up, he was unresponsive and she sounded the alarm," Ferguson said.

According to Virgill, a coroner's inquest with a jury will take place, and Anna Nicole Smith will likely be asked for her testimony. "All persons who are relevant witnesses, like his mother and hospital staff and airline personnel who had contact with him, would have to testify," Virgill says. "The inquest would happen late October or early November to determine how, when and by what manner Daniel came to his death."

She continued, "The family wishes to return the body to the United States, but it won't be released until the reports are in."

^ Even though ANY cause of death would have been horrible, I was really hoping it was a natural death. Now there is going to so much more interest by the press as to how he died and obviously invasion into Anna's personal business.

i think there is nothing worse than loosing your child/see your child leave this worls before you do!!
my uncle passed a few months ago and my grandmother is until today in total hysterics... she cannot comprehend. his passing also came as a shock... noone knew.
so a similar situation...
i know how she must feel... i wish her all the strength!!! and may he rest in peace :(

Owh gosh that's so awful to have one child die moments after your second was born. My most sincere condolences on the loss to Nicole and the family.

From cnn.com

The chief inspector of the Bahamas coroner’s office on Wednesday called the death of Anna Nicole Smith’s son Daniel “suspicious” and said a formal inquiry that could lead to criminal charges was being scheduled.
“Whenever there is a suspicious death, we would have an inquest to determine how the person died,” Bradley Neely, chief inspector of the coroner’s office, told AP Television News.
Her Majesty’s Coroner Linda P. Virgill scheduled an inquest for the week of October 23, saying it “is the right course of action.” If jurors at the inquest decide a crime took place, the case will be sent to the attorney general’s office, authorities said.
Earlier, Virgill told The Associated Press that authorities believe they know what killed Daniel Wayne Smith, but are awaiting a toxicology report to confirm the findings.
“We do know the cause of death,” Virgill said. “But we need to confirm it with a toxicology report.”
She declined to disclose details but said there was no sign of physical injury to Smith, who died while visiting his mother, a reality TV star and former Playboy playmate, in a hospital three days after she gave birth to a baby girl.
Deepening the mystery, Virgill said there was at least one other person in the room when Smith died. She refused to elaborate.
“I can confirm that there was definitely a third person in the room at the time of death and I do know who that person is,” she said. “But I am unwilling to reveal that information at this time for various reasons.”
A formal inquiry may be launched, in which case officials will not publicly disclose their findings until after it is completed, Virgill said in an interview.
Meanwhile, police were reconstructing Smith’s steps since his arrival Saturday in the Bahamas, said Reginald Ferguson, the assistant commissioner of the Royal Bahamian Police Force.
Ferguson told the AP that no drug paraphernalia or traces of illegal drugs were found on Daniel Smith, in the hospital room or near the room.
“We haven’t found any illegal drugs or anything of that nature in the course of this investigation,” he said.
Police believe Smith went directly to Doctors Hospital in Nassau, where his mother was, after flying in to the Bahamas, Ferguson said

This is like some very strange and very real soap opera.

I heard somewhere else that there was "blood and vomit splattered everywhere" in his room, at the time of his death...? That dosen't sound like natural causes to me.

This case is so weird, I wonder if it has anything to do with hospital staff, I mean Toxicology reports but no drugs involved? and he was found sitting upright in a chair in the hospital room? oh God I feel so bad for Ana Nicole, what a terrible thing.:(

Oh.

Well that could explain it then. It just all seems so weird that it happened 3 days after Nicole gave birth.:(

OK please don't think I am an idiot, but what is the big deal about a third person being in the room? Do they think he was murdered?

OMG. This case really is getting deeper and more "mysterious" it seems by the day..... Poor Anna, because the more complicated the case gets the more press intrusion/interest there will be, and the poor woman won't be able to grieve in peace.....

Perez's outfits look like he threw up on himself....:yuk: He's such an inconsiderate prick esp during this time of loss. No matter what anyone thinks of Anna Nicole, no one, not anyone should experience the death of their own child. And no one should give out accusations of what may have caused it. This is a time when the tabloids should just butt the hell out of it and give them respect.
