Anna Sui is just Anna Sui. I do not expect simplicity from her... and it is not just pure hippie... it's different.

And I love her for her Anna Sui perfume...*sigh*

I absolutely adored the Anna Sui-show. I usually like Chloe aswell so I could agree with Mettchen that there are simularities between the labels in this case. But such lovely pieces though. I could've bought the whole collection if I had the cash And yay, leggings will have a rebirth this spring!

You can always rely on Anna Sui for sticking to the floral/boho/hippy thing. I'm glad she's not gone for that pared down, nude/white look that everybody else in NYFW seems to be doing and stuck to what she does best.

Having said that, some of it is a little garish for my tastes.

Like a lot of others have mentioned I see Betsey Johnson similarities..but strangely also a Marni vibe from some of the pieces be it colour combo choice or cut.. not to mention 2nd hand store treasure finds kinda items..

I liked this season more than usual. I can actually picture myself wearing some of these clothes, even though I still would not wear them. I wish she would branch out a little from the boho/frumpy look, I know thats her thing but I'm just so sick of it right now. I think the Olsen twins are going to be buying everything in this collection but is that really a good thing? Also, I don't know if its just me but I'm so sick of cowboy boots...This collection leaves me wanting something new.
