Lovely but a bit safe for Anne.

This is so sweet.

Congrats to Anne!!!

I thought she looked good but not great. She's got a wonderful comportment and can make almost anything look elegant, but the last two looks, the Oscar and Chanel, were just not quite as dramatic as other gowns I've seen her wear. I think she maybe set the bar too high with the Givenchy and the Ford. ;)

The big disappointment of the night. I don' like the dress at all, and the color doesn't favor her very pale skin.
she won, don't know if it was totally deserved, but she was good in the movie.
anyway, was I the only one who taught her attitude during the ceremony was a little bit fake and forced?

Nope. I thought so too. I rolled my eyes during the bit where she was hugging Amanda Seyfried on stage.

She needs to take a long *** break from the public eye after award season because she is starting to piss off a lot of people.

She does have a certain earnestness as well as a kind of pollyanna quality; the two together could be seen as annoying I suppose. But I do get the impression she's sincere and not fake. Anyhow LolaSvelt is right - post-awards Anne needs some downtime. First cat woman, then wedding, then Les Mis, now awards - she's been everywhere for months!

A bit, but I'm sure it's all part of her campaign for the Oscar, it rubbed me the wrong way that she started going on about Sally Field as she's her main competition.

Anyways she has it all going for her, a summer blockbuster, an acclaimed role in the winter, she was singing, she cut her hair, she's been around for a bit, hosted the awards, she's America's Sweetheart. I do hope after she wins she takes a break.

I like Anne Hathaway, but I'll be glad when attention around her simmers down. Natalie Portman annoyed me two years ago for the same reason.

LOL! at the Oscar talk though. Yes, I think it's very obvious she's being very calculating in her Oscar campaign' that she wants that baby badly. From the way she talked about getting ready for Les Mis to how she's handling press interviews. It all has an 'aren't I special' quality to it right up 'I want to be more quirky, but the media is focused on me so I hide it' in that interview.

Weird thing is though, as calculating as she's being, I can't help but feel she's being genuine and even sincere. She's not the first actor to get struck with Oscar Fever, after all, but most actors are more...skilled...at hiding it.

I didn't care for her Chanel gown. It flattered her figure, but it was so boring. I can't decide if I like that coat/cape she was wearing with it or not.

I saw Les Mis and she was exceptional so I wish she'd drop the faux modesty thing and own that she's winning everything as it is well deserved in my opinion.
