i havent seen her act at all.. but i have been noticing some pictures of her at premieres and award shows lately and she seems to have a quite lovely sense of style... i don't know if she has a stylist or not...it would be great if she didn't!., but of course i wouldn't be surprised if she did....who doesn't these days....
how is her acting?....is anyone a fan of hers?...i feel a bit silly creating a thread for her when i dont know anything about her at all, but i feel like she pulls off these dresses so well that she deserves a little thread...

i read a little bit about her on wikipedia and it seems she's quite an accomplished actress... she is also married to james mcavoy (and i dont know anything about him either!.)...

she can act alright... a 'serious' actress in mostly English and Irish period pieces.

I'd never seen her style before, but i agree she's chosen some beautiful dresses. the two shorter blue dresses are perfect. does anyone know who they're by? they look so familiar and yet i can't place them.

She's an amazing actress (and she and James are so cute together) I like her style too, she's worn some nice pieces like that Alberta Ferretti dress (in the pic from telegraph.co.uk, two posts above mine, last picture) and the blue Moschino dress she wore to the oscars this year Here's another pic of it:

I think she's truly one of the most gifted actresses around, as I've no doubt Hollywood will soon discover. She and James are a force to be reckoned with!

Agreed, she is amazing, she was fantastic in Shameless! I loved the first series of that so much. She also played Elizabeth I as well but I can't remember the name of the piece, she's very versatile. As far as her style goes, I'd be really surprised if she did have a stylist - she seems very down to earth.
