For me there are similarities, but I think the comparison has much to do simply with the timing. First, Freja's been around for quite some time and we have yet to really have a girl come around that looks enough like her to warrant the comparison. On the other hand there have been hundreds of alien-esque, Gemma and Sasha wannabes and more Dutchies than I can count. Secondly, we're at the peak of Freja's career, especially in terms of visibility, so for someone to come around that looks even remotely like her means the comparisons will be magnified.

That being said, Antonia is extraordinary and I wholeheartedly believe that she has enough of a unique presence to overcome the comparisons and prove a name for herself.

Hmmmm. To be honest, I have never really seen the Freja Beha resemblance. (Fortunately, I guess!)

I think she more looks like Élise Crombez, although I can see some resemblance with Freja too. Her shot is the best so far, I am really looking forward to see the other shots.

Though she does look a bit like a younger Freja (before she matured and grew into her nose), I thought I was looking at a young Heather Bratton in some photos. That said, she has Meisel written all over her. I hope she at least gets to test the waters with him at Vogue Italia after this campaign.
