Woah the iphone flip is cool, but realisticly speaking I think people gives apple too much credit for innovation. Most likely, iphone will only change in hardware and probably the screen size either bigger or smaller.

ok so....

i was able to successfully install a theme (final fantasy) via INSTALLER.

this is what i have.
i have a Jailbroken 8G iphone, running 1.1.3, on a MacBook.

installer 3.01
Summer Board 3.2

open installer on your iphone,
go to Install, Scroll Down to Themes (summer board) category.
browse through to find the one you want.
click on it, Install package.
Go back to home (main screen) wait for it to load, unlock your phone.
Go to SummerBoard, click on the first tab (theme)
select the one you just download and Voilà!!!

ooh, make sure that the Theme wallpaper tab is ON.

btw... i found this app called ShowTime
that lets you record video. to bad it only does video but no audio.
but they are supposed to be working on it too. Hopefully the geniuses at Apple realize that they need to add video recording on their next update, and hopefully a better Camera for the next gen iPhone. 5 megapixels at least. with ZOOM!!!!

i really want to get the iphone but that would entail paying t-mobile $250 to get rid of my sidekick plus the money to buy an iphone. is it worth spending the money this summer? or should i just wait until my contract is up (i love my sidekick to death but the service is often terrible and the iphone fascinates me!) i'm sorry if this has been talked about a million times, but is there aim on the iphone and how does it compare to the sidekick?

Agree with you. If iPhone has these function in the future, i will get it unhesitatingly!!! Let us see!!!

well...

the pics are obviously photo shopped and badly, at that i might say.

keep in mind, everything is still speculation. possibly every pic of the next iPhone will be a fake, as everyone is trying to get attention to their site.

yes including this one, it's not the new iphone. it's just a black case for the iphone that can be bought in HK, apparently. Apple is very secretive about their new releases. They actually pride themselves in it. especially with the iPhone. nothing else comes close.
I know, i know about korea and Japan. but the best phones from Korea and Jp, are better only because they are on a faster network, but the actual interface of their phones are lagging behind the iPhone. why do you think that every high end phone that LG, Samsung, Nokia release is labeled the iPhone killer? they are obviously trying to catch up, and they are getting better. but with the next gen, Apple will put definite space between itself and the copy cats.

Is there a way to send pictures from the iPhone to someone else's phone? People don't believe me when I tell them the phone doesn't have that feature.

the only way i know of is if you email them and they open their email from their phone. other than that I dont think you can but I'm sure it's coming in one of the next updates. I'm still confused why that wasn't integrated when the phone came out.

so wait....you where able to install Tokidoki (sometimes in japanese)
on your iphone but not the others...or you can't find the other one?

maybe you need other sources to installer for it to find it....
i'm using community sources
trying installing that via installer and see if you can find what you are looking for through that.

about the case.

i think you should be able to find it through ebay... probably the Hong Kong version if at that.

about sending pics...you should be able to through a third party app...
let me see if i can find you one.
i mean the apps the actual iphone comes with are quite
that's why i keep replacing them with better third party apps.

I think the iPhone is a tiny bit too large for me, but no doubt it's pretty hot! Even as the apple-fanboi I am, I can not understand why they persist using the shiny metal backside that is nice for the first two days (when you are so in awe by your new iPhone/iPod that you barely touch it) but after that gets full of scratches and fingermarks. I hope they open their eyes to the matte backside like on the 2nd gen nanos!

I have the above case in white. I love it.

I had my phone for nearly 6 months without dropping it but one day it took a big spill, I immediately came home and bought that case. I dropped it again the other day and nothing happened. I spent many hours searching apple.com reviews and the general consciences was that this was the best case. And now my phone, computer and ipod all match.

OMG! I had way too many margaritas for the holiday weekend and I jumped into the hotel pool....completely forgetting my phone in my shorts. I am so angry at myself.

I'm definitely going to get another, but I am annoyed about all this super secrecy on the next iphone! I don't know if I should wait or just buy one in stores right now. If it won't be out a month from now- I'd rather just go with the current model.

i hold on to them just in case something happens to the current one.

Oh wow- I didn't know that. I will call a couple of att stores tomorrow to verify. I may really be up the creek without a paddle- Tmobile is the only network that doesn't have 3G yet! So if I buy the new one I can't use the features even after I hack it! *eyes watering*

Overpriced ebay may be my only option.

I don't think it's about "covering their ***es", it's the way apple operate, with everything, from iPods to laptops to desktop mac's. The wait or not wait decision - in my opinion - is wherever you need/want 3g or not.

It shoud be out soon. I talked to a lady who got put on a waiting list and it should be sometime this week or next.

She also told me that they are offering a discount to those who want to trade in thier first gen iphone. I dont know if its true or not though.
