Anyone shops at this place? It's a Canadian clothing retailer that's opened a couple of stores in the U.S. Quite pricey, but super popular among the young 20-something crowd.

http://aritzia.com/

I snagged an Acne dress there last summer in Toronto marked down to around $70...

My sister loves the jackets that they stock- she got this fab grey peacoat maybe 4 years ago that was probably around $350, we still share it today! Then other simple blazers...

I feel like the clothes they stock are really like "Lauren Conrad-y" if that makes any sense?

But you can still get some cool clothes (e.g. my acne dress).

Aritzia is based in our city so it's very popular... they have lovely clothing (I love their Wilfred line) but it's so popular that every girl in the city has the same things.

I agree ^^^ I love the clothing there but often I can find the same labels cheaper online and I am afraid of being seen in the same outfit as a preteen  at my age. lol
That been said, I still shop there occasionally.

where do you go to for cheaper stuff online?

I like really like Aritzias Wilfred line. Its a good place to shop for really good quality, classic pieces. The only thing I don't like is there TNA line (I still cringe when I see people wearing the tracksuit ) and that some of there pieces are over priced for what they are.

The past couple seasons they have really worked towards bringing in new and fresh designs which I am happy about. For a few years it seemed like everything was just a rehash of the same pieces in different colour schemes.

Its a very popular store in Vancouver, a lot of my clothes come from there.

I love the Wilfred line-I feel like once that line came out, it completely changed the way I looked at Aritzia (which surprisingly, used to be known for spandex tracksuits and hoodies).

I am careful about what I buy there-there's certain items I try to avoid because I see so many people wearing them. But most of the time, I can find a way to style it differently so I don't end up looking like everyone else.

My only issue with Aritzia is it never feels like they bring out a lot of new items each season-it always feels like a rehashing of previous "hot" items.

Does anyone else on here still shop there? I love this store, I work at the one in Portland and I just wanted to know other people's opinions (as of late)

i like what is happening with the babaton line for spring...
definitely seeing a lot of pieces on the website that i want to try on in the store...
super high end looking...
even the basic styles are cut in a very flattering way...
and i like all the colours and prints...
i'm a fan!~

^_^

Their Wilfred/Babaton blouses are quite nice, especially in silk. There are some pieces you'll want to avoid (like someone said above), especially among the coat/sweater/cardi lines because you can walk out looking like a clone if you buy them...but you can't go wrong with their wool coats or camisoles which they sell in a wide range of colours. Nice quality/material, versatile cuts, and timeless.
