^ to tell you the truth he's not even all that great. i mean he's good, but i've seen a lot better digital artist. :ninja:

which one is better than him? did you at least bother to check out his work? google him or anything? "not even all that great?" do you have any idea how many years it took him to get at this level?
Are you one of Danny Roberts' fans? :( Because that would be an example of "he's not all that great"
a portrait he made about a year ago

not at all, it's just that I've posted an amazing artwork by Andrew Jones several pages back, and nobody reacted to it whatsoever...

I thought this thread didn't oblige us to respond to posts made before ours, but to share the artwork that we, personally, find inspirational that day. If no one had anything to say about the artwork you posted previously, it doesn't necessarily mean that they couldn't appreciate it or don't understand digital art- maybe they just had nothing to say about it. I posted one of my favourite Fuco Ueda paintings on the previous page and no one responded to that either- I didn't presume that everyone who didn't respond was a philistine. It's nice that you like his work so much, but everyone won't necessarily think the same way.

today's artwork: Poppies, by Georgia o'Keeffe

Yes :D There's not much talk in this thread.. I don't always get comments on work I post too. Anyway Elle M I don't think there are any threads on concept art in this area of the forum, so if you'd like to make one I'd love to see it..!

also: I think digital and concept art are two different things, no?

Anyone who's seen this? I find this very evocative during these troubled times when buying luxury products mean giving up something important.

It's not telling me anything I don't already know, and Africa isn't the only place where there are starving children... but I've always wondered whether donating money online gave you the certainty that it got where it should have, and not in some evil man's pockets who just took advantage of their current situation :|

#1425 I think the idea behind it is very superficial. It's just a gimmick...."only for the sake of controversy" thing.

I just recently went to he Modern Museum of Art in Ft Worth & thought I'd share some here:
