i just love paintings from this period. probably my favorite period of art. there is something about all the painters from this period in time that creates such candid yet refined emotions without boardering insanity. even with paintings of the interior of a home feels with emotions, like the danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi.[FONT=Arial,Helvetica] Jozef Mehoffer[/FONT]

the silence and stillness in his subtle paintings are very melancholic.
