Desperately and aimlessly trying to do "inner child" work on myself... looking through sci-fi everything. I never saw this artist before, Zdzisław Beksiński. His work is so intensely warped and detailed with heavy fractal like imagery it kind of resembles what early AI image generators used to try spitting out. Pretty gagged. A new fav.

When it comes to a sci-fi vision of a hellscape, no one comes close to H.R. Giger. His paintings, concept art, maquettes, and life-size sculptures are as modern as the day they were realized 50 years ago. So very unfortunate that the Alien franchise has deteriorated into such slop with Alien Romulus and the lowest of the lows— Alien Earth. And the designs are awful now without him.
