Finally. This is absolutely wonderful news. The girl has NOOOOOOOOOO talent. Plain and simple. She deserves everything she has coming to her. Now if only people would realize this about a bunch of other popstars...

i was watching her show today on MTV-all the girl did was whine, b*tch and complain. I got so sick of it i stopped watching. People say jessica is spoilt, but at least that's in sort of a comedic way, like she doesn't take herself too seriously. This one really does. And no one would pay as much attention as they are now if she wasn't Jessica's sister.

Don't forget, Jessica "acts" a bit on her show, so who knows exactly how spoilt she is. She just tries to appear less intelligent than she is (which I think is insulting, but that's me...)

I think it's a bit perverse about her father talking about her (Jessica's) breast.

He spoke about them also in a VH1 Driven show about how her figure was hurting her Christian Music career because she just didn't look "homely" enough.

It's strange to think he used to be a Preacher...

I saw a clip of her performance. She was absolutely atrociously terrible. I can never understand (well, I can, I just wish it weren't true, it's all about economics and profits, baby.) why people like Ashlee (who clearly clearly can't sing) are getting contracts when great unsigned artists (see Sara Bareilles) or other singers in University choirs, etc, don't get them, but these people are naturally talented to the point to where they can perform a cappella and stay on key with perfectly lovely music. Ugggh. I think she deserved to be booed - she has some of the worst showmanship ever (as demonstrated in the SNL gaffe), not to mention that her "singing" is just digitally done so she SOUNDS good on a CD.

I have absolutely no sympathy for Ashlee. It is very unfair the way the public is being duped by unscrupulous managers and record conmpanies. I read somewhere that her CD has sold over 1 million copies. That's one million fans that have been led to believe that this girl could actually sing. Erin, I agree with you 100%. There are so many talented people out there who are far more deserving of a recording career and they are overlooked.

if i was a sing i would just buy my own cds everywhere or online to makeit look like it was popular... but im not..

this sister act thing is annoying me... one minute there is a talented singer/actress and the next minute they suddenly have a sister thats ridding off their fame..
