I'm currently trying very hard to not think about how lovely that Jensen dress is!
Wish I knew how the sizes for this line run. Too big a risk for me, maybe.......but i guess it could be returned.

shoegal87- Hm I'm not sure cos I dress very smartly so I'd wear it as day wear but i'm not sure if everyone would. I think the puffy sleeves make it not so much good for day wear but i'd wear a jacket anyway

Could anyone advise on sizing for the Peter Jensen dresses?
Would you stick with your regular size (high street) or jump a size up?

Here are the shoes I ordered sometime ago.
They are of lovely quality.

Personally I think the shoes from the ASOS-collection are of better quality than clothing from the same line.

Brogues in cappuccino brown (shows a little darker on the pics below), and boots in granite grey, both very comfy
I am a 37 (EU) - 4 (UK), both true to size.

pics by me.

Grrr, my package was sent back! So soon, after only about a week or maybe even less. I knew it was here cause tracking info was provided but I never got a notice and so didn't know where to go/what to do. They use a very annoying postel service..Tried contacting them. Didn't work and before I knew it it was sent back. So annoyed right now!

I'm currently waiting for a pair of socks that appear to be missing in action. So irritating, even though the purchase is small.

Vegalyn, I love the grey boots! I've been looking for a nice chelsea boot. Do they have a normal width? TIA.

seacarousels:
yes, the boots have normal width, and are very comfortable.
In real life, they give a very "worn"-impression with some discolorization, if that's what you are looking for?

My first ASOS order arrived today, and while I'm totally thrilled about my cocktail ring (it's just too awesome! It's here, can't get the pic to work: http://www.asos.com/Asos/Asos-State...=1544&sh=0&pge=2&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Black)

I noticed the petite boyfriend curved hem cardigan I also ordered doesn't look like the one pictured on their homepage... the buttons don't match the colour (I got the navy one), they're metallic, and not in a good way (which just looks out of place considering there are ten buttons total all over one side)...

Did anyone have that problem when ordering from ASOS?

BUT: as it fits me well and I like the colour and the fabric, I will just get some better buttons and sew them on myself.

Just in case anyone is interested:

I recently purchased the petite navy blue duffle coat from Asos.
It arrived next day (which i selected) and i absolutely love it! Very soft and supple, unlike many thicker duffles out there, yet it does not compromise on warmth - a lovely winter coat.

One thing to remember: i am a UK8 and needed to get a UK4. And it is still pretty roomy, but just right for me. Definitely size down unless you are aiming for the oversized look:wink:

I am 5"4 by the way.

^That is really helpful, thank you! I'm never sure what size to get and end up ordering several different ones, praying that they will receive my returned items (which they always do, but I still have to pay for it).

I can't seem to find a photo of it online right now...but there is a shearling jacket from ASOS Collection - the Daily Telegraph yesterday featured it and said there is a wait list of 400 people  ...guess I won't be able to get it! :(
