does anyone have any pictures of the model capucine. she was audrey's friend & roomate, star of pink panther movies?

I can't seem to find any of them together (and posting just photos of Capucine seems a little off topic :flower: ).

However, I did happen upon a site with old Italian paparazzi photographs....

OMG- I've been in complete heaven today. Turner Classic Movies has been playing an Audrey movie marathon! Right now I am watching "Love in the Affternoon." :D

^ Oh no I missed it! I love that channel!

Yeah me too. :D I was so excited to find it because I got to see "A Nun's Story" for the first time. I told my mom that I watched it, and she was so happy. She said that when she was a kid and the movie came out, ALL the girls wanted to be nuns because Audrey looked so stunning the her nun's habit. Luckily, my mom didn't do it!

^ Haha That's great! If only all nuns could be so stunning.

That is what my mom said too. She said after the movie her and her friends would play "Convent" inside of "House" and put things on their heads to look like habits. They all wanted to be Audrey. Personally, I would have strapped on a tiara and played "Breakfast at Tiffany's".

^ No kidding. Who wants to be a nun when you could look like a princess!

She was still beautiful when she was really old, did she ever get plastic surgery?

^^ I don't think so. I'm pretty sure she aged naturally and very gracefully too I might add. :)

^ Yeah, she was a beautiful older woman. Just BEAUTIFUL. I loved that she did not tamper with herself. She looked like a more mature version of the young woman everyone fell in love with vs. a semi-recognizable plastic old actress. :D

'Breakfast at Tiffany's' dress to be sold:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20060726/ap_en_ot/audrey_hepburn_dress

gosh, can you imagine owning it!!

I just read about that in People, while waiting in the dentists office! They said they were expecting it to sell for at least a million. If I had that amount of money, I would definitely buy it. And me being a petite person (sometimes size zero is too big for me!), the dress would probably fit me, too. I would kill to just try it on for 5 minutes.

I doubt the person who gets it will actually wear it. I would like to wear it, but I think I'd be afraid to because of the chance that I could ruin such an iconic dress!

I think it should be donated to a museum. I hope whoever buys it eventually gives it to a museum so that everyone can see it in person.

just found this thread, i absolutyely love audry hepburn, shes classic and a timeless beauty. plus her style was perfect. if ne one has ne pics of her style please post!! thanx a bunch

hey i just found this picture, irts kiera knightley being compared to audrey.. what do you guys think?? i think they kinds look a like but only in this picture, in general not at all.

^ The only similarity I see between the two is delicate facial features and perhaps a similar face shape. I think what makes someone truly like Audrey is not just looks but demeanor too. I like Keira a lot, but you would never hear Audrey talking about getting wasted all the time. LOL.
