Sorry if theres already a thread, but I though I'd give the overseas members a look at some Aussie fashion. Personally, I think our designers are pretty good, but lets here everyone else's opinions.

im australian, and i think aussie designers seem to be getting better!!
although i admit i havent really been exposed to that much. overall, its quite good! lots of talent!

Sorry if the people you like aren't there... a lot of the top designers boycott melbourne so Alex Perry, Tsubi, Willow, Alice McCall etc weren't there

Well I'm not sure of all the reasons but I know quite a few think its a waste of time... a lot of them will show overseas instead, I know Akira does in Paris, and Willow in NY this year. I don't think Melbourne get as much media attention or as many buyers as sydney does...
 
I love Australian designers..
theres so so much talent here,clearly..
The designers just arent that exposed ..
But i love nearly all of it hehe :) :heart:
