Talk about late for the party! Here I am an Australian myself and I missed this post.

Thanks for posting this Lena. There are many designers who don't or cannot afford to show at Australian fashion week, and therefore I wouldn't really call this representative of Australian fashion....more like representative of those with a high profile (and no doubt financial backing), like Wayne Cooper (who is actually from the UK), Akira, Morrissey etc.

Myself, I love Aussie fashion...and I speak as someone who is fortunate to have travelled (and shopped )....I think it suits our lifestyle. I just wish that some of the lesser known designers could get a look in. And IMO Wayne Cooper, Morrissey, and Sass & Bide are so over-rated anyway.
