Its surprising that this is not as cheap and nasty as her usual collections are. The really flarey jeans are really nice, nice and simple. She's toned down a lot on the cleavage and the tacky colours and prints, but its still has the same sassy theme.

...uhh I doubt that. It lacks any sort of direction and it's incredibly cheap looking. It looks like stuff you could buy off the rack at any major department store right now. The lack on continuity is frustrating. Such a shame time and money is wasted on these "designers" when there is so much honest talent out there...

so say this was oh i dont know chanel and has vlada and suvi etc etc in the show and people would love this? haha NO! kimora(or whoever) is basically making the boring typical things we see at say oh i dont know macy's or jc penny. it's boring, same, and i can practically get the same thing like right now. and plus if this was a label as big as chanel then i would be severly SEVERLY dissapointed.

In context,this isn't a bad collection. Kimora is hardly designing clothes to be fashion forward and directional,this is Baby Phat,not Balenciaga. She's designing clothes that she knows will appeal to her target market and sell,which this will.

No offense, but I don't agree this this statement. I usually watch random fashion shows from fashion TV during their global fashion week (or something, doesn't really pay attention because I only watch FTV when I am eating on the dinner table), and usually I don't even know the designers name, their models etc but I can see which I like and which I don't like.

This collection is better than her previous ones IMHO (less tacky). And yeah, definitely not inspiring because you can get the same look by going to your department stores right away, but that's where Baby Phat target market is. So they are doing pretty good for their target market.

Isn't she the one who said that she is living the life of extreme "fabulousity"? For someone who's so "fabulous" she surely doesn't display it into her collections. She should just stick to wearing designer items instead of trying to be one herself. We have too many celebrity designers now.
