The collection as a whole doesn't make me feel excited. But there are some nice details, some nice textures and a pretty nice color palette. I love the two-tone loafers, I want a pair of those. But all in all not really inspiring.

Extremely hideous bags, some pretty messy oufits but I really enjoyed it actually. Well i'm a bit biased because I found the stade direction absolutely amazing, really worked on me. The collection on itself isn't that special, the more I see it the more I feel like he was running out of ideas, after 10 looks. Still, I love how he played with the thin line between 60's ubber chic housewives but also ubber provocative hookers. Editors must've gone wild with this show and I see why. The pieces are really interesting ans inspirational. In a more concrete way if I were a client, I wouldn't be that much excited. It's not a really easy to wear collection. Miucca made that plexiglass more appealing. I loved the shoes though.

I, myself, saw last season's Prada. But I love these clothes too, but yes, it is way too similar to Prada.

Marc Jacobs always delivers delicious. He is like a chef experimenting with different flavors and coming up with new and unique tastes and what a dish did he concocted for this collection.

my favorite part of this dish is the textiles, its all quality ingredients. from the printed silk gingham, the metallic broderie anglaise, to the embossed patent leather, everything looks like 2012.

very creative and inventive shapes, I really like how he manipulated the fabrics and played around with the little details like the twisting and draping of a silk skirt and a oversized flap pocket of a jacket or an off-setting placing of the collar on the neckline. everything looked new.

beautiful color play. period.

overall, there were a few misses, but that's good because how can you come up with something new without making mistakes. the end result is a lot of new desirable pieces for the marc jacobs girl and boy

I can't remember the name of the artist but I think the music of the show is from a video art installation and it complimented the controlled chaos of the presentation.

There is a way to redeem this Marc Jacobs show from the dustbin - it's pure kitsch.

Kitsch is something we're called to react to this season in several places. And you can see this offering as an extension of the deliberate bad taste language of Louis Vuitton SS11.

This extension as a deconstructive pastiche of Bob Fosse, Galliano, and the very idea of taking retroism seriously.

I had this thought the day after the show but on reviewing the stills just couldn't reconcile myself to it's costume party tackiness. But, in movement, when the light bounces off those shiny artificial surfaces, you do more so get the unreality, the surrealism of it. Unless in the pages of a magazine, not really clothes to be viewed from a real world perspective.
