I've never felt SO insulted in my life by any other ad as this ones.
(If asking why, it's the maid)
I swear to God if I ever see Kimora, she'll be humbled!

I now understand why Janice couldn't stand Kimora. She is such a show-off and I HATE people who show up worthy material (father ). Her ads just scream see Im rich and look at how Im living yet I still wear my cheap *** Walmart clothes . I dont understand what the maid is doing in their unless they also open a line of maidswear.

It's not only hip-hop stars that wear Baby Phat. She has customers of many different backgrounds believe it or not.

How is her airbrushing different than *any* other celebrity featured in magazines?

Who conceives these ads? It looks like Kimora is ignoring her daughter's outstretched hand and the maid on the stairs isn't watching where she's putting her foot. And the 2 maids look like twins. Weird. But Kimora does look sort of more glam in this one.

How can she be stereotyping if these are her actual maids? The January 04 Harper's Bazaar KM article features photographs around her home and we see these same women as in the current campaign.

I think Baby Phat is a hoochie, ghetto and trashy tee and jeans business with a runway show thrown in to get press. Awful clothes and therefore these are awful ads. However KM looks great in non-Baby Phat clothes and I don't judge her luxurious lifestyle. She seems to be a girl having fun.

They are not her actual maids. I've read two articles saying that they were hired to play maids for Kimora's ads.

Anyway, the ads are terrible, the clothes that the "maids" are wearing look nicer than the crap that Kimora threw on her own body, and the air-brushing could not be more obvious. Kimora Lee Simmons was the "muse" (or whatever) of Karl Lagerfield of Chanel for years (supposedly.) She couldn't have picked a thing or two up about style from him in the time she was gadding about with him? Bah.
