Dark Angels

Who’s afraid of the dark? Certainly not fashion designers. Black is back for fall, and so are sober, even somber,
styles that would have delighted Morticia Addams. They made a particular impact for evening, blending the sinister and the ethereal with such 19th-century touches as Empire waists, puffed sleeves, lace panels and fishtail hems.

I'm not likin the empire waist AND puffed sleeves on that one dress. Each alone would be classy and elegant, but together, they kind of seem like a communion dress.

Good thing "black is back" because I have ALOT of it. Even though, to me, it never left

moody

yes since about november ive been in a deep black mood with accents of charcoal & white. B)

however as the weather will finally be nice in nyc by early april. im going back to blues, yellow, pink green & other happy tones ;)

but i love wearing black in nyc & will do so again in sept/oct. :ninja:

I absolutely love black 'colour of the poets' ;)

In my opinion no matter how many times people will announce 'a new black' no colour on earth will ever take over black's status.

I loved the adamms family especially when i was just little and would do my best at dressing up as 'wednesday' for halloween

black my eternal love ;)

Thank god is all I can say....after all of those seasons of brighter then bright colors black seems almost refreshing, I guess that's a testement to how classic black is.

omg spike... you took my comment :furious:

I'll say what I was gonna say anyway:

"On the subject of colors: THANK GOD!! I was about to puke if I saw bright pink and sherbet orange in another trend report last spring. The gothic thing... yeah... it's a trend... "
