Pointless clothes for a now pointless brand seling pointless accessories. I had so much hope for this brand under Demna...
It's all so tragic now.

But it doesn't matter, Prefall season this year is all about Phoebe's last collection and Chanel's Paris-Hamburgh.

Congrats girl, you're officially the biggest Balenciaga sucker.

There is no reason to defend this big amount of trash. Quite funny the fact that she even mentioned that Demna designed the collection because in my humble opinion this is the most basic copy paste ever.

I'm tired of Balenciaga and I want him out.

If I were a woman, I'd grab a Coach bag of the same style, and stencil in the Balenciaga logo myself for the ultimate ironic statement this label seems to love to push...

It’s strange, his first collection wasn’t my favorite but as time goes but I’ve gone back to it and found a new love for it (especially that soundtrack )

But this is just getting lazy, everything is the same dang color palette, same fit, and same fabric.

It's the same damn thing every season. As much as they make on sneakers and shoes they can easily afford to take more risks. This really isn't going to add much to ones wardrobe.

I totally agree with this statement. But this is not boring boring.
The "boring" I need is classic chic non-Instagram bait fashion - this would seem so fresh right now!

I have no clue what a LV Alma is, but I do know its commonplace for designers to freely "copy" each others bags. I remember seeing an image that showed Celine bag (the one that looks like a face), next to other designers versions of that same bag. I have no clue why this is.

There was a time when designers bags were very identifiable and specific to one brand. Balenciaga's bags under NG never looked like Chanel or LV bags never looked like Dior.
Of course some shapes were universal but overall, it was a bag=a brand.

That particular bag is indeed a copy of the LV Alma which was created by LV for Coco Chanel at the time so apart from Hermes, some luggages brands (that Dome shape was popular in the 30's) and Chanel (who did it in the 90's as an hommage), nobody has done his kind of bag since.

Hedi Slimane kinda destroyed everything at Saint Laurent when he started to do Chanel-look-alike bags. Now, everybody is shamelessly copying everybody.
And Gucci and Balenciaga right now are the worst at it....
