this is probably the only one of a few posts where I instantly like what I see...

I love how he knows just how to incorporate the fur into the outfit without being overbearing... love the hats ( i have two myself )

If you read my other posts I actually hate Balenciaga, because of the "shape" they like to use...but this is amazingly wearable, kinda like s/s 2006

It's not hideous by any means and the double breasted blazer is nice enough but overall it's leaving me cold.

Me either. The only thing I'm even vaugly attracted to is the suit that looks like a re-colored S/S 06 suit.

and that first lesbionic fur warrior thing is so awful. Very Dior back in the day

if anything, the bags are nice, and obviously, that's all balenciaga sells like hotcakes.

If this was RL or Michael Kors, everyone would've been hating it all.

^ I disagree. I would've liked it just the same, but no doubt it would be shocking for designers known for clean, classic lines.

I personally love this because it's reminiscent of Ghesquiere's earlier work. I've been very dissappointed the past two seasons, especially after the perfect S/S 06 collection, but this is the kind of Balenciaga I like. I can't wait for the new collection. I hope he goes back to something a bit more masculine and assymetrical.

I don't know, I actually like the way that the prefall isn't showing us everything but giving us a taste of what's to come. Not to mention that I'm partial to the little fur hat and booties...and I normally hate fur. This seems way more interesting that last season's C3P0 bull...

Ditto--this is nothing like the classic Balenciaga pieces I'm used to. Generally, I'm up for change, but in this case I'm not. This doesn't even have the slightest tinge of Balenciaga, but rather that of a mediocre, generic brand.

Here's to hoping the actual F/W 2007 collection will be more eye-pleasing than this!
