I love these shoes. They look amazing even off the runway. I am so jealous of Mary-Kate

mary-kate olsen has them (hqcb.net)

They are amazing... I see they've watered down the monstrously tall runway versions..
Otherwise they'd get a heck a lot of lawsuits over ankle/knee/hip etc. injuries!

But MK does look strange ... tall :ermm:

Mary Kate looks ridiculous in them. Then again, I think she looks ridiculous most of the time and have forgotten exactly what she's famous or why she's still famous.

I just can't imagine these on a normal person in real life!

trust me, they are awesome. legs a mile long and turns normal into super....

I still think they look like Frankenstein's shoes imo, but I have yet to see them in real life anyway.

I am not too fond of them...maybe because i simply dont like chunky heels...although Balenciaga had a couple of really sexy and amazing boots in the past...not sure about those ones...not feeling them...

If I could afford these, I would totally buy them. It's hard to explain but I think they are great and edgy, fitting in with the odd wedges trend from the runways right now, even a little fetish-y.

They will look like total fashion victim shoes next season.

they were a lot higher in the show than in real life, the models couldn't even walk in them right!

but i LOVE them.

almost as much as i love the fw 2003 ones! :)

In-store, they don't seem to be stocking the SUPER high ones as used on the catwalk.... they're not too bad walking-wise....

I tried on the ones with ankle strap in store and it felt something very similar to walking on stilts.
They are not that super high, but definitely much higher then my Chloe's wedges from summer.
I would be really afraid to walk fast in them. Especially because they were not wedges, but heels.

I'm not sure when I would actually wear these - think they would totally take over my outfits and as I tend to walk about a lot don't think they would be very practical :innocent:

I have the booties with the stirrups in black and I've worn them to work, and out to dinner quite a bit (homegrown italian as well as an irish pub). I wouldn't call them party shoes to stand around in all night but with skinny pants and tunics they work perfectly. I love the clunky bottom with the narrow top appeal, it works for me. I love these shoes, and will for many seasons to come.

those are fabulous shoes.

MK Olsen always lets the clothes (shoes, bags, etc...) wear her, rather than the other way around. Hence the ridiculous-looking-ness. (???)

i really like these shoes & i think that mk pulls them off very well but i'd never wear them because i can't walk in them:D

My dream shoes – I can only imagine myself owning them, since actually purchasing a pair is highly unlikely.
