yeah, nothing comes close to Lanvin flats!
Molly congrats!

Ok...marni made some flats that are very very similar to Lanvin ones....are they as great/comfy???
anybody tried them on???or have them even??

I've tried those. They're slightly less comfortable than the all leather or all patent ones because of the mix of materials, as the satin lavins seem to be the stiffest (at least mine are). That said I'm sure they soften with use and become just as comfy.

Barneys seems to have a lot in that style on sale, I've seen them in black patent with black leather, black patent with brown leather, black patent with hot pink satin, black patent with blue satin... I think that's it.

edit... just realized you were asking if anyone had tried the marni ones, not that lanvin style, nevermind

p.s. Molly, those are beautiful, I had to restrain myself not to get them, you're going to love having them.

i love my lanvin mj flats, and im considering buying another pair for the summer. most comfortable flats ever, aren't they, molly?

plus, i've seen some AMAZING mj flats at the chanel store a few weeks ago. they're round toed- have a patent black toe and the rest of the shoes has very little black and white stripes i NEED them :D

I've had metallic flats before and the color always seem to rub off or fades after a short while, so I was wondering if the Lanvin metallics are the same? I've never actually felt the texture myself so I have no idea what to expect.

Thinking about buying a pair on eBay so any help would be greatly appreciated! :flower:

Those MJ flats that YOcaroline posted were at Nordstrom Rack for about $99. They were incredibly stiff tho, too much so for me or my sister. I should really know better since I own several pairs of Marc Jacobs, but his shoes hurt me the most! I think it was wishful thinking on my part..

I tried them and they didn't fit well for me, slipped off. They were similar in feel to the Lanvin's though in my opinion. They went on sale at Saks.

I've had colour scratched off where I've managed to scrape them on the pavement at the tips of the toes but from normal use it doesn't seem to fade or anything, I wouldn't worry. I need to be more careful not to get my shoes caught in cracks.

Do any of you have any experience as to how they size?
Or how they compare to the Lanvin real python flats.
Thanks
