Oliver is getting worst and worst. This is a top to bottom awful colection, the pants are the most dreadful thing I´ve seen in a long time.

This was atrocious. So heavy, ugly, stale. I'm surprised Oliver has lasted this long at the brand. He's desperately been trying to recreate the success of his predecessor, and has nothing new to say. It would be one thing if he was at least good at trying to produce good copies collections, but he can't even do that. At first it seemed like he may have some promise, but subsequent collections show he's got nothing. This is probably his worst to date, and that's saying something.

ETA: Does anybody other than Rihanan still wear Balmain? It lost a lot of the street cred that it had accumulated under Christophe.

Usually i love Balmain. But after studying more closely this collection i got dissapointed. I dont care for peplums and those huge upper parts. Everything looks too unflatering. There are few nice pieces but not much,

so many pieces that looks so uncomfortable, stiff, unwearable and
unsuitable for "longer sitting-events"

I actually like this collection a lot. I have always like his collections although after a while it became like he was a one trick pony until this. This collection is a lot less severe than before, and great workmanship it seems.

I think I kinda like it. Please don't throw eggs and tomatoes on me. Pretty please?

I don't know, the designs aren't so bad; they're just unflattering, most of the time.

^ Yeah, pretty much a decked out safari warrior theme going on hence the heaviness I suppose. The excessive styling and palette makes everything look so chunky.

hope no buyers bought the pre-fall collection since this looks EXACTLY THE SAME.

That was quite traumatic, the sheer horror that unveils itself when you open those thumbnails. You look at the color palette and the general feel of the collection in the small pics and it's not that bad, but then every individual look is just so unflattering, heavy, and hideous, it's actually terrifying. Horrible. One of the worst of the season. This label is going downhill fast.
