Styling wise this is a GIANT improvement, his models always used to look like Christmas trees and we’re finally in “actual people” territory! I wonder if MAS had to tie Olivier down à la Clockwork Orange as she removed trims, accessories, layers of gold chains and assorted tacky crap that he loves to throw on women.
The collection itself…is not very good, both he and Daniel Lee are very into this Sienna Miller-esque shawl neckline slouchy jacket look which is kind of meh tbh. On the other hand the fixation with batwing sleeves, thigh-high boots, tall collars and the graphic color palette reads as very Montana on sleeping pills. Neither of these inspirations was done justice.
