SohoChic1: Yay!! You paid $90 with shipping, right? I paid $79+shipping for mine. I also dislike that bebe added the gold studs. It throws off the look IMO. Also, the bebes have a platform and the auth don't so they def aren't super close to auth. The Bakers version has the correct shape (and no platform), the correct toe loop and the rounded toe. They also have silver studs. I'm really happy with snagging a pair and for 1/2 the price of the bebe and Zara versions (and don't even get me started on the Steve Madden or Aldo versions, blech)!!!

These KOs are amazing, Katerila, which brand are they and where did you get them? They really look very much like the original Balmains.

I was thinking of buying a pair of knockoffs and getting them altered by a shoemaker. Anyone knows if a shoemaker would be able to remove the heel and completely flatten the shoe????

i've heard of a shoemaker lowering heels. it could be an expensive proposition to turn them into flats though. im not sure it can be done well. im sure you can find a flat version of the knockoffs on ebay.
