I don't understand how come Géraldine Saglio is admired for her style instead of being discarded as an Alt clone and this girl is blamed? Maybe because Saglio is expected to be an Alt clone as her assistant?

Anyway, I like how she wore the Balmain leather pants, I prefer her styling with the tuxedo blazer and white shirt to Saglio's. Also, I like how she matches it with Louboutin Pigalles, instead of these oh-so-tired-already Isabel Marant pointus.

To be honest, I don't think Geraldine Saglio copies Emmanuelle Alt's style. They have similarities, but Geraldine adds feminine touches to her style whereas Barbara Martelo blatantly copies Emmanuelle's style. It's almost as if she wishes she was Emmanuelle.

I personally do not believe she copies Alt, as someone else said Alt did not invent that look. Barbara has had the same hair for as long as I've been following her, (something Alt also did not invent it's a pretty basic style).

I think that in Barbara's case she is just a Balmain lover and works it into her look wherever she can. Plus, if I am not mistaken, Barbara began styling in the 90's whereas Emanuelle did not start her career at Vogue Paris until 2000.

And this thread was created for those who admire Barbara not to debate who copies whom, wether that be Barbara, Alt or Géraldine.

Who says who copies whose style? I prefer Barbara's style so much more to Emanuelle's. And I'm sure Geraldine wasn't the first person to ever wear those red pants...

^ guys calm down, I believe that is unavoidable to wear the same stuff as other people in fashion tend to wear, such as leather pants, Balmain jackets, Isabel Marant booties etc. I love all of those myself, I like wearing them the same way Barbara, and Emmanuelle do, but I wouldn't say I'm copying them. Probably just get inspired by them, or simply we have the same taste in fashion
