Barbara tells on her homepage that she had several castings and go-sees so far and inspired a photographer to do another shooting with her during a beauty shoot.

I didn't even know but: she's still with IMG in London. So, she's the only girl who managed to convince the guys at IMG to "keep" her, even if the contract she won with GNTM is already over. I really hope we get to see some major stuff of her

^ Agreed! The third pic is my fav She can look so good in certain shots/ from certain angles. I think she actually looks the best in natural styling, emphasizing her eery side. Of course, her body isn't particularly made for it but I think with her face she'd make a great high fashion girl. I just wish they wouldn't only use her for all these "glamorous" ads, where Barbara is all dolled up etc.
Put her in a McQueen outfit and you'll see how awesome she works such things!

It depends on how you make her dolled up, on some such 'glamour ads' yes, definitely agree with you, better not lol. But she can pull off many ranges not just a la McQueen, just hope she'll book more work and we can see all Barbara can do

I really like it when they're not using mascara on her, it makes her look kind of mysterious. In the final of her cycle they had to supervise their own shot and the fotographer then wanted her to get rid of the heavy eyemake-up she insisted on and conviced her to take the pictures without mascara. I wonder if Barbara brings up the idea herself nowadays since there are quite a few shootings with her where her eyes are "bare".

IMPRESSIVE NEWS!

Meine ersten Wochen hier in New York waren sehr spannend für mich und ich bin mit dem bisherigen Ergebnis wirklich sehr zufrieden! Obwohl es hier im August urlaubsbedingt noch etwas ruhiger zugeht, habe ich schon viele Fotografen, Magazine und Designer getroffen und bisher sind meine Fotos und ich sehr gut angekommen! Viele der Magazine haben mich bereits in ihre Editorial-Planungen der nächsten Monate mit aufgenommen! Außerdem habe ich natürlich auch schon diverse Shootings gemacht, teilweise an super schönen Locations mitten in Manhattan!! (Wofür darf ich leider noch nicht verraten... Ihr werdet es aber an dieser Stelle erfahren, wenn es so weit ist! :-) Letzte Woche bin ich zudem noch bei einer Fashion-Show für Emanuel Ungaro gelaufen und auch das New Yorker-Team dieser Marke möchte in Zukunft mehr mit mir arbeiten! Ich bin froh, diesen Schritt "über den großen Teich" gemacht zu haben!

In der vergangenen Woche habe ich wieder tolle Jobs in New York gemacht! Unter anderem einen Video-Dreh für eine sehr große Kosmetikfirma, eine kleine Fashion-Show und ein tolles Editorial-Shooting! Ich habe diese Woche wieder festgestellt, dass ich gerade die Abwechslung in meinem Job liebe, denn eine Modenschau ist einfach eine ganz andere Erfahrung und Art zu arbeiten als vor einer Kamera zu stehen. Und wenn beides dann noch mit bewegten Bildern vor einer Film-Kamera kombiniert ist, ist die Mischung perfekt! :-) Außerdem warend die verschiedenen Kunden, die natürlich alle andere Ansprüche an ein Model haben, sehr zufrieden! Und wenn die Kunden glücklich sind, bin ich es auch! ;-)
