I concur with the pro high-waisted sentiments, I think done this way it is possible to look edgy, albeit with a cute element of kitsch – but it’s all good fun and what fashion is about!

Whilst it is slightly reminiscent of the 90’s, I think back then it was all about the whole stomach being on show, whereas a slash of flesh looks much more modern (and tasteful I hasten to add!).

All that said it is starting to get disgustingly bitter here in the UK, so I don’t think this is a statement I will be pulling off in the nearby future.

I´ve done this trend in the 90s, as a teen. Now I wouldn´t do it, been there done that... I´ll leave it to the teens.
