Basso & Brooke S/S 06 - London

I love this collection, especially what they did with the prints. I love the fact that something creative has actually come out of london, as apposed to aquascutum and look-alikes. The way they work the print in the fabric is also extremely amazing. I beleive that we'll be seeing some MAJOR things form Basso & Brooke or B&B as i like to call them because i know them and they come over for dinner once and a while. I love them.

they could join heatherette and make a fashion circus together

I'm IN LOVE with all the dresses in the first post BESIDES that ugly fishtail long dress. But I'm ESPECIALLY in love with the last b/w striped off the shoulder guitar dress. I would wear all of them.

I'm in love with these clothes! I agree most of them are unwearable but I would love to go out to a club in a few of these pieces. Very hyper, fun and young which most collections were lacking this season...I also loved those poofy socks some of the models wear wearing.

I'm very disappointed  I had such high hopes for B&B but this collection looks hurried and without any of the sophistication of the previous 2.

Maybe when I see the collection on a rail it will make more sense, but it does seem like they're going backwards, not forwards with this one.

haha I love it
It's fun but I would never wear a whole outfit like that.. but if you mix a top with a pair of solid pants or a solid top with a skirt or so it would look really good..
a lot of the prints are lovely
I love these

not a single person in the audience didnt smile at this show.......even the old fashion snobs

it was MAGIC, it was beyond RTW.......more couture

At last, in London, there's something weird on the loose, and it's a long time since we've been able to celebrate that.

I say: B&B it's pure joie de vivre.   :D

OMG..yes I thought this was from the couture shows:wacko:

the prints are great but i dont like the shape of the garments i think they need to put more thought into that

I really really like a lot of it. What is so great is all of the color- you don't see that often.

i quite like it, they are the new heatherette, but much, much better :p

as the style.com review says, its a nice break from all the pseudo-bohemian stylings dominating the runways
