BCBG Handbags

I want one of the signature bags so badly. Do their stores do charge sends?

I'm debating on whether to buy the turquoise one or the black one. Maybe I'll just do both :D

last year I bought a med. signature hobo in white... it is not worth it folks!!! for $500 I could have invested in a real bag, instead, the hardware on this one fell apart and they were so rude about it at the store, jerks! goes to show!!!

That's sooooo strange. I had one for a year (black leather small sig) I took it everywhere ex. NYC, Vegas, Europe, jeez did I use & abuse the poor bag, in the end I sold it to a friend of mine who was moving to London and was short on cash, but loved the bag. I sold it for about $80 less then the retail, because it was in such a great condition and is such a great quality bag. I would say it was the best $362 I have spent on a leather bag. In fact, I'm thinking of getting one again.

I really like this shape

U know, I had this bag in white. I have to admit the shape is not very user friendly. I sold it after a month.

I believe if youc ontact their customer service, they can charge a bag to you... with shipping and all.

I just received my large brown sig hobo today. I :heart::heart::heart: it.

I own the turquoise and it's an awesome color... but black goes with everything...

I dunno, I feel a little ridiculous owning 3 of these.. but I got two at huuuge discounts... so I guess that helps me justify it a little.

Check auction #6800108344 on ebay... black one for 100 less than retail.

Also #6799567769 ... horrible pics but authentic bag

Oooh.. there's a yellow one on there.. Ugh.. I can't go for four.

Luna, been eyeing this bag for a few months now. thanks for the info that BCBG cust serv can do a charge/send.....may be an option for me....

btw, how many sizes are there of the signature hobo-2 or 3? is it correct that the small is $362? then the medium is $444? then the large is $600+? i love the turquoise color! although i do not see the color listed for sale for f/w '05. geez, i think i missed out. i'm positive you love your BCBG hobo bags!!!

Ya.. the turquoise color came out last fall...

Small is 362
Med. is 444
Large 470

I own two smalls and one large... I've seen turquoise ones go on ebay... so If you're out for that color, I'd reccommend watching ebay. Maybe if you call their Customer Service, they can find one for you somewhere..

and Yea.. I have no complaints about my bags... and I bang them up, i'm definitely not gentle with them. The only signs of wear on my bags are the corners wear the leather got scuffed a lil. I haven't had any hardware fall apart... or any major scratches.

If you're near a Dillards, I bought one in March for like 90 buck because there was a stitch flaw that I was able to fix myself. But they also had a lot of other bags that were on sale for like 100 bucks off... very spring-y colors though.. pinks mostly.

Lemme know if you find your turquoise, Maximus

Luna, thanks for the 411....

honestly, i have never bought anything on ebay as i am reluctant with regards to the fakes out there. (i am currently working with my credit card company on getting my money back from one of those fraudulent websites who claim to sell authentic merchandise and that i bought 3 designer handbags from. so far, we've succeeded in two refunds...still awaiting the 3rd.)

don't live a near a dillard's so i will try to contact cust serv for a large turquoise.

thanks again for the info, Luna :flower: and i'll let you know what happens ^_^

I bought one of my bcbg's on ebay. ... these bags are faked.... but if you know what to look for it's not so bad.

Just another option if ya need.

I saw two turquoise bags go last week sometime on ebay.. they were authentic

i think that's the problem-i DON'T know what to look for with regard to authenticity on ebay, especially with these bcbg hobos. i'm like an ebay virgin :p

is there any ebay seller you could recommend that sells authentics? thanks so much....:flower: (if it's not allowed on this thread...oops, sorry, my bad... )

I dont know of any sellers that sell just bcbg bags... but I'll keep my eyeout.. and if you happen to find an auction ... PM me with the link and I'll give it a looksy.

I checked out those items you listed, Luna, and I'm so tempted to buy the second one (the one with the bad pics). I've tried all sizes on in the BCBG store, and I think that I'd be best off with a small one. The large just seems too...big.

I have the large signature hobo in the alligator stamped leather... I love the look of it but the base is just too big... so it really gets in the way when you wear it under the shoulder! Also it's so heavy and the straps really hurt your shoulder.

My sister has the medium signature hobo in the creamy white... that thing picks up dye like no other. The bottom half of one side is all blue from rubbing against her jeans :( So if you get a light color I would recommend spraying it with protectant first!

Yea... I dont get light colored bags.. I've seen the cream hobo on a girl at my school... it was so ugly and beaten up... lots of stains.

I have the large... I guess it can get a bit heavy.. depending on what I put into it... but otherwise have no problems with it's size... But then again.. all of my bags are.. biiig.

*maximus*, I found your turquoise on ebay.

im surprised BCBG bags dont have more of a following...i just bought a clutch off ebay, and think they come out with some cute bags and styles...i know this is an old thread, but this years bags are really cute, so i thought ( and with halloween coming up) i'd dig up this thread from the TFS grave and revive it. ^_^

Haha.. i still have a few of my BCBG's... it's definitely an underrated handbag line
