BCBG Max Azria S/S 2012 New York

I completely agree with some of the posters finding a couple of the dresses to be shapeless.
I'm definitely pleased by the collection. I'm particularly salivating over the sheer parka on Kate King and the blue dress Arizona wore at the end. Overall, it's quintessential BCBG Max Azria.

It looks very Rag & Bone-ish and Proenza Schouler-ish for me.

It's funny how I always love bold colours and more modern designs when fashion month starts but end up totally sick of it and desiring the classics by the end. I guess it's good that we start in NY and end in Paris. So at this point, I quite like what I'm seeing.

Pretty much as expected with this brand. Floaty dresses atop high heels, can't really dislike it but it's a big yawn... funny, though for a French family the Azria's are heavily influenced by their environment, which is L.A. On the upside, the stores always carry interesting things that are never shown on the runway. I've had very good luck with sweaters and coats there.

I agree with Prairie :flower:, totally see Rag + Bone in this . i quite like it, i'm very surprised.

I really like it, surprisingly, as I'm usually bored as hell by anything Max Azria comes up with.

It may not be spectacular, but it's just a nice summer collection, the colours are really lovely.

I think it's a fabulous start for Spring Fashion Week  Love it

The two slits on the skirt is so unflattering.

Can't deny this.
There are just a few dresses that I really like, while the most of them is nothing but a waste of fabrics: bad combinations of colors and awkwardly shaped.

I like it, not fond of it but I want to be indulgent because I'm huge sucker for color and flirty silhouette. This being said, I also feel like I've already seen this a thousand times already.

The clothes look better in motion. I also really like the colours that they've used, definitely something I'd like to see everywhere next summer.
