Beautiful Houses

I finallllyy trotted down to the beach with my camera! and as promised here are a few lovely houses that surround me where i live. My house is also included in here ehe im putting it in because i love the design, my parents designed it!

These aren't like, luxe beverly hills style mansions or anything...just beautiful beach front properties.

Sorry for the horrid quality, the bay was super overcasty and windy and grey and i was seconds off from having the heavens open up on me!

Wow! Those are some really unique houses! And they're all in the same neighborhood?

great job, juicy!.
the second house is my favorite, I've always fantasised with wooden floor on a terrace.
.. it's funny though, how the design of houses changes dramatically from country to country but beach houses are pretty similar anywhere you go.. the only difference here is that things are usually built high on the cliffs since the north pacific gets wild very often.. there isn't much change to go out to the beach without having to take the highway, as silly as it is.

Yup! They're all within...a 2 min walk of each other!

We all live along the same strip on the beachfront! Its only like this for about... 16 houses and then it stops ahahaha then it turns into little beach front cottages and new luxury apartment blocks. Very odd...but i love my neighborhood!

I have a passion for the arts & crafts period, particularly the Gamble House by Green & Green, in Pasadena, California - gamblehouse.org

^that house is gorgeous SomethinElse! I'm not as crazy about some of the ultra modern houses posted in this thread. They're nice to appreciate as architectural designs but too sterile to live in. They remind me more of spaceships than homes.

I'm used to standard suburbia where everything looks the same because of codes and boring planning.

I don't like it that much to me it looks like office building  but very modern though

Amazing house Christofer!!!!
Thank you for that pics... you make my day!

wow, thanks chris!
.. I probably couldn't bear to live in a house with such cold.. design.. but it still looks pretty awesome.

amazing photos....thanks chris....
the house is indeed very modern.....but i think with the right art and finishing touches it could be warmed up....

i love the shot of the kitchen/dining area...(i think it is)....
with the glass walls.....as if you're sitting outside....
delicate and beautiful.....i love that feeling of bringing the outside indoors...

Very sterile but I love the stair case and the entery to the garage.
