Margeryta Schelylo's eyes
I'm sorry but who is this person? I've done a google search but nothing came up.
And I completely agree with you on Charlotte Rampling and Kaya as Effie (not so much in real life, for some reason...).
Inguna Butane, I think she was beautiful but her face is almost completely spherical
I understand what you mean. I think Inguna is an acquired taste.
I was put off at first by how large her head was but when I finally 'got' her I could no longer see any flaw.

PS: sorry to be insistant but could you enlighten me about that exchange between Aish and Nacho. It's been kiiling me!

^Inguana's mouth has always bothered me. Whenever I see her, my eyes go directly to her mouth, and stay there.

ugh, that's what happens when you submit posts late at night guided by poor memory of a complicated name: Margeryta Schelylo = Margaryta Senchylo. There.

Natalia Chabanenko She still has to grow into her face but this type of beauty is not an acquired taste, either you love or are indifferent.

Has anybody mentioned Faye Dunaway? She was extremely beautiful in her younger days. Unfortunately, I think she fell into the plastic surgery trap when she aged. Plus, the whole "Mommie Dearest" thing, LOL

Some knowledge of who she is and what she does only adds to her striking features.

^Wow she IS so gorgeous!
To me the most underrated actress of all time in terms of beauty was Gene Tierny , IMO she blows Marilyn and Audrey out of the water. Imo Marilyn's beauty had a lot to do with sex appeal and Audrey was about her elegance. Genes face is enough.

Women, in general, have to rely on their physical assets far more so than men for whom it's about charisma, confidence, etc. Not that these qualities aren't appreciated in women. A lot of the women I find beautiful don't have perfect faces. It's actually their imperfections that enhances them even more.

I agree. Haider Ackermann said that with men, it's about energy. For me, it's a combo of looks, talent and charisma. In both ways it's hard to be attractive, for women it's the vanity; men it's the have-it-or-you-don't thing. This is why the fashion industry flourishes around womens-wear and magazines far more than male counterparts. (The people flourishing has no gender, however).

With imperfect faces, you just want more. Perfect faces just leave you thinking, how perfectly beautiful, that face can do no wrong, ever! and just leave it at that. Imperfect faces make you want to see how well the face will look with this lighting, that angle, this hair, that makeup; what can be changed, what looks good. With a perfect face, you just know it'll look good, and that's that.

Gemma Ward has a child's perfect face. Perfect proportions, eyes, smile, skin, hair. She looked exactly the same when she was little compared to what she looks like now. That is a perfect face, but the contrast of the un-child-ish body was the draw. I'm sure that as a child she was complimented for being so good-looking, because it's very easy to be cute as a kid. But when she grew up (particularly 11-13, early adolescence) it was weird for most people (and thus), delightful for the fashion crowd.
