oh, looks intriguing. thanks for the first glimpse ms.jade!

Interesting set-up! One of the shows that I love to *look* at (not sure what I could do with the clothes..:ninja:). Need to see more, but I'm loving some of the knits and those last print coats posted.

the style of the presentation is very cool..... but the clothes are just ok....

OK, I never have anything nice to say about his work, but the hosiery is quite interesting ( I believe he has a license). The visor/sunglass is nice but don't get me started on those diaper shorts.
Pass me the sick bag.

those visor glasses are already out for sale at Colette,
i dont understand, is he going shopping and then he adds existing designs to his collection?

somehow more promising than usual,
but still terribly boring and pointlesly pretentious

OMG! This is absolutely fantastic! If you really look at this, this has most certainly alot of the classical elements of his earlier collections. Just as I was hoping for too ;) Love the knits and these gorgeous coats...well,really I love almost everything...the tights are brilliant! And I'm really excited to see he decided to an installation rather than catwalk with this. The settings definitely provide a better atmosphere and feeling for these clothes. Gorgeous. Everything.

I love the set-up wth the cardboard! Very awesome!

Many pieces I like, namely coats.

Ya, those sunglasses I associate with Willhelm. Although they are rather close to the Dior Golf sunglasses...hmmm

I completely agree...I'm almost getting bored of catwalk shows...His legwear is always quite good. I think he's gone back a to his "roots" too, but he sneaks in a little of his clubby side too with those neon suspenders and smiley faces. This is very bernhard willhelm to me. I find it quite adorable.

At long last :woot: I like it. I'd been waiting so long for Bernhard to return to (or at least to acknowledge) his roots that I thought more than once of abandoning my figurative post.
I'm not infatuated or anything that crazy, but yes, there are some homespun, Bavarian elements i see, and they're refreshing.
that lederhosen-type outfit in the first post is quite '', but as a part of the installment and extension of the theme I kind of like it :ninja:

^^amen! I really felt it coming when I saw the men's. I had an awfully good feeling about this and he really didn't disappoint. stitches, that's exactly how I've felt for the longest. These installations/films are so refreshing. I love it though how BW is so unpredictable when it comes to his presentations. btw,Diane has a film from the presentation on her blog- http://dianepernet.typepad.com/diane/files/BWfornet.mov

a couple more images from ashadedviewonfashion.com. PS I AM SO PUMPED UP!!! about this and paris fashion week in general. SERIOUSLY!

edit: oh yeah, you just posted about the little movie, haha, it felt like a cross between camping and a psychadellic movie set.
