From what i've seen (i'm generally not really interested)

Loewe
Calvin Klein
Delpozo
The Row
MaxMara
Ferragamo (boring but beautiful)
Burberry

Celine, Chloe, Jil Sander and Nina Ricci were OK, and I liked the concept of the Givenchy presentation.

Best:
Marc Jacobs
Lemaire
Nina Ricci
Max Mara
Valentino
Lacoste

WORST:
YSL
Dior

Best: Lacoste, Calvin Klein, Burberry, Tod's, Olivier Theyskens, Mugler, Haider Ackermann, Chanel.
Also liked Prada, Céline, Paco Rabanne, Acne Studios.

Worst: Marni, Gucci, DG, Balmain.
Didn't get the love for Sies Marjan and Loewe.

Where do you want me to start...

Haven't had time to process LV, but it's usually a fave in recent seasons.

Best: what I said before

Not thaaaaat bad: Balenciaga :ninja: :ninja: :ninja: I just like those skirts...

Interesting but I don't really like it: CdG

Worst: Louis Vuitton

I seriously can't get over how BASIC and cheap it is. The studded lapels... My god. The uber-cheap fur vests, the terrible knitwear, the beyond simple skirts, the cheap use of the lace, the awful mix of textures and colors, the horrendous dresses at the end, the ugly boots... So, so, so, so cheap!

And in the "How can you be shameless enough to even how your bow at the end of the show" category: Dior. That woman being a 'real' designer, like... actually having a job that is not Bershka junior knitwear designer, is out of any mind's comprehension.

Me with CDG mainline for the past 2/3 years.... I know it's blasphemous to say that here on TFS but i'm with you for this.

Best: Most definitely Loewe and Haider Ackermann, with Delpozo and Marc Jacobs trailing behind

Worst: Pucci and YSL!!!! So tragic seeing what these houses have been turned into! Why those collections were even allowed to see the light of day, I will never understand!

BEST: Loewe

WORST: Most everything else....extremely unremarkable season. Even just a day or two later I can't recall much about any of the collections from NY to now.

Best: Calvin Klein, Haider Ackermann, Loewe, Paco Rabanne, Thom Browne, Yohji Yamamoto

The rest I found either okay, uneventful or plain ugly - Marni, I am looking at you.

Ximonlee
Rick Owens men and women
Maison Margiela women
Prada women
Y/Project men and women
Yohji Yamamoto women

Good enough:
Vionnet
Craig Green
Yang Li women
Nehera

Is AF Vandevorst not showing this season?

i was wondering the same and apparently they will present the collection to the general public during couture week in july

A.F. Vandevorst to Present Fall 2017 Collection With Online Showroom Ordre.com
The brand will invite buyers to view the collection both in the flesh and virtually in its Paris showroom, then present the collection to press and clients during couture week in July.

undercover
noir kei ninomiya
christian wijnants
sharon wauchob
margaret howell
veronique branquinho
lemaire
olivier theyskens
yohji yamamoto

the usual.. and tenth spot in the air for whatever comes out of tokyo, Ys, comme comme, tricot.. all that takes forever.

I guess the 'honorable mention' category would be max mara, mostly the silhouettes, palette and mood, I don't think any specific piece speaks to me at all; nehera.. cause I'll always have a soft spot for his work but I don't really think it lives up to his job as a stylist.. and.. uma wang.. rational me knows it's stunning, but the heart says no, it's a cocktail of all the parts of different people I can't stand for different reasons and the things they love, brought to life as one fashion collection.. but yeah I want to be wrapped in that .. followed by a gua sha session, thanks. :innocent:

as for the worst.. I don't really think on these terms, I react and then forget about it. I can't recall anything worst... most shows are the equivalent of mac n cheese so what should we expect..

loewe, lanvin, sharon wachoub, lemaire, chanel hermes, yohji yamamoto, givenchy, sacai, miu miu, prada, gucci, balanciaga

might be a few more but mostly are quite forgettable.

I think fashion today has come to a point where commercialism is key, creativity is secondary. It is what it is i guess, so it is not all the disastrous as people here like to claim.

I love Sies Marjan, Off-White, J.W Anderson, Loewe, Altuzarra the most.

And the worst, of course VERSACE and DOLCE & GABBANA. These two are just...

The Dries casting alone was sublime, but the collection was emotional too. Past that...Calvin Marc Balenciaga JW Burberry are top of mind atm.

best: j.w anderson, prada, undercover, junya, celine, ann demeulemeester, and preen

honorable mention to burberry and loewe as so close but just missed the mark.
