this is all so FIERCE i'm having palpitations!!!

finally something good in ny fashion week! and def. one of betsey's best collection in a long, long time.....i am so excited for this. i love just about 99% of everything

i wonder if the archive looks will be reproduced & sold??? i've wanted that gun sweater ever since downtown julie brown wore it on club mtv!!

its better than i expected. the hqs were making me nervous.

i like the guns and the first black outfits, and the black and yellow. the skulls could have been done much better.

i hate the florals, but not because of betsey, but because florals are always ugly to me.

and was the hair and make-up inspired by betsey?

The only thing I like is the red with black polka dot dress. And I like it a lot actually.

The rest is just too much, even for her.

To me, this is less a business attempt than a celebration of the way we wore in the 90's, and perhaps a light-hearted call to get back to some of the irreverence and mish-mash decadence that people dressed with. By now, Betsey's business almost solely survives on taffeta-y party dresses, and this to me seems like a return to her roots, but first she has to convince all of the high school girls that their foremothers really had it going on.

I'm glad I didn't comment on this earlier, because my thoughts really changed. I didn't like it in the least bit at first, but at a closer look I did. The styling is not good at all to me, but the individual pieces are great.
