Being a fan of hers, I am so proud of the progress she has made in her fashion choices. 5 years ago we could have nailed her in Versace, Armani, Elie Saab and Cavalli. Now she cares more about the actual pieces and has developed a personal style that is all her own but still keeps it contemporary.

I'm glad she is stretching the influence she has out to the mass media. Requesting Joan Smalls and Jourdan Dunn to be next to her helps them become public faces because of Beyonce. Plus, Beyonce uses her name to support new designers (Rubin Singer, Ralph and Russo, David Koma) as well as support older classics (Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier). This is an interesting fashion following.
