excellent pics kimkhuu, thanks for bumping this thread
love this 'unisex' style when not too 'costume-y'
i think it remains a major inspiration for the streetwear market and not only
(see hints at the recent Prada menswear collection for fw 06.07)
'fashion' messenger style bags are getting the thing to live with in my part of the woods..
tiny & small shoulder bags seem totally outdated, i guess women got finally bored to leave half the things they need to take with them at home..
will i snob the trend? i'm certainly not giving up my messenger type bags, let them fload the city, i dont care
oversized or minimised they are the only kind of bag i can live with..
most of the bike messengers in NYC are hot! B) ... it's a definite trend. nice long lean bod, muscular legs, tight tops and bottoms.. oooo la la. Sometimes , i asked the receptionist to come and get me when a bike messenger is over, just to check him out. lol ok.. gotta have some fun some times B)
i'm with lena - i've been wearing messenger bags for years. i've had my timbuk2 bags for about 4 and they're so perfectly broken in i have handbags for other things but when i need to carry a lot of stuff or i'm running around, my messenger is so practical.
my boyfriend rides a fixed - he's not a messenger but he often dresses like one i love this look...when done right (not "over" done) it really is quite hot.
thanks for all the pictures, kimkhuu! i'm sure he knows where to find more...i'll see what i can do
^ Yes, messenger bags are very very pratical... I always need roomy bags (even if I find tiny tiny bags very cute) because I have to hold a lot of stuff.
