Black Hair Inspiration/Appreciation

I love black hair. And like any color, it has it's good and bad reputations. It can be mysterious, striking and sexy. I just think it's beautiful. But some people think it's just too harsh or even 'ugly'--which is sometimes what I admire about it.

I have brown black hair, which I always insisted was very dark brown. But everyone else insisted was black. Now I suppose I see their point, so I call it black. Not everyone agrees that it is, but I think it still counts.

yay!! i dyed my hair black a couple days ago, and i love the "mysterious" look.

I had mine red for a while, but it just wasn't working. So I went back to my own color and love it more now. I think I want to keep it slightly darker than my natural shade though. I guess I prefer strong colors.

my hair is naturally black-brown. but i dyed it a kind of mahogany...then reddish brown...and then tried to remove the red with a dark brown dye...i know i'm crazy


but the red is STILL there...how do i take it out and get my natural hair back!

it seems like that we have the easiest time to have the "bare face" look.

and btw do u guys think black hair pair better off with tan?
a lot of pale girls seems to tan selfeves after having their hair dyed to raven.

For the most part it looks awful if it's a good tan then yes but I always think that black hair + tan = p*rn star.

Well... I would like to see pictures of beautiful dark-haired people who are tan. I know there are plenty with naturally dark skin. I'm not sure how a tan would keep someone from being equally beautiful.

Anyway, if the whole black hair and tan thing was true, many Asians in the world would be considered p*rn stars. And if that happened, all our Asian mamas would lock us up in Rapunzel's tower and we'd pretty much be screwed... in a different sense of the word.

sorry, when i ask the question about should pale girl get tanned after dyed their hair to black (since many magazine suggested that), i never expected it tunred out to be like this...
and i guess i will be the japanese p*rn actress then lol if that is really the trend

there are a lot of shampoos for brunettes out there. do these work just as well for people who have brown-black hair? cause all i see is brunette, blonde and red, but never black. (except in China, where people sell shampoos with sesame extract. it's supposed to work too! an uncle of mine said that his head used to be all white already, but ever since he started eating sweet black sesame paste every night, his roots started to grow out black again!)
