‘Savages’ Star Blake Lively Admits She’s Never Heard of ’50 Shades of Grey’

Tons of Hollywood A-listers have immersed themselves in E.L. James‘ erotica novel 50 Shades of Grey, but Blake Lively apparently isn’t one of them.

Celebuzz chatted with the 24-year-old actress at a press day Friday for her upcoming film Savages, co-starring Taylor Kitsch. The Gossip Girl actress let spill that she actually has never heard of the famous book.

“I haven’t. What’s that?” said Lively when asked if 50 Shades of Grey was on her reading list.

Though Lively is not familiar with the book, she was very happy to hear fans are rooting for her to be casted as Kate Kavanuagh, the protagonist Anastasia Steele’s best friend.

“How sweet,” Lively said after hearing about her fans’ campaign. “I don’t know about it but thank you!”

‘Savages’ Press Conference

On Friday Blake Lively was at the Four Seasons Hotel in LA, California, attending the press conference for her latest movie ‘Savages’.
To kick-start the promo tour she looked divine wearing a teal-blue printed dress with a flounced hemline.
She couldn’t have picked a more stunning pair of heels. I have had these Nicholas Kirkwood wave-print heels on my wish list since they were added to Net-A-Porter last month.
Blake is usually a die-hard Louboutin fan, so it is refreshing to see her expand her shoe repertoire.
A simple wispy ponytail, a black patent belt, statement earrings and a stack of bracelets completed her look.

I think a black shoe/booties would've worked better with that dress, which does look nice, OR put a simple black shift with the shoes, and then the shoes would be the stand-out item they are. Together, it's too busy imo.
