BS. would be kind of hypocritical considering that she and the rest of the GG cast have been to a gazillion. The rumour sounds embellished to me - it is a rumour after all. And from word of mouth no less - you know what they say about Chinese whispers.

Some did make a good point that maybe she meant that it would be "tacky" to attend the Chanel shows as a consumer, now that she's an official ambassador.

The part about the dinner party is obviously true. some type of "party" is needed to fully launch the handbag line. Rather than it being part of the fashion show it self - cos then most of the attention would be on the clothes rather than the bag.

It's also funny to see how this rumour has taken off. It's gone from "Blake Lively thinks celebs attending fashions shows is tacky" to "Blake Lively thinks Chanel is tacky!" Like seriously lool! Does that even make sense smh!

I would have like the dress better if it didn't have the ruffly bit at the top. I do like the shoes and jewellery though. I guess as everyones busy with PFW, they couldn't make it. But I heard there's going to be another dinner in Paris on the 8th - so I guess Karl etc. will be there. And I guess the ad will come out then too.

She looks tired, you can tell that training/filming the Green Lantern, doing promo for The Town and also filming GG last year has taken it's toll. Doesn't seem shell be back to "normal" for a while as she's got a busy schedule with GL, Hick as well as GG.

The "Gossip Girl" beauty turned up at the swanky Big Apple locale as she partook in an intimate dinner hosted by the highly-regarded fashion brand Chanel.

As for the reason behind the soiree, Miss Lively opted to partake in the Stateside dinner for her collaborative effort with Chanel - as she's the face of their Mademoiselle handbag collection.

The La Grenouille function was put together in lieu of Blake going to Paris for Chanel's runway show during fashion week, as the 23-year-old is quoted as saying that she "thinks it’s tacky for a celebrity like herself to attend the show."

Not loving this Chanel dress its just off to me but there were so many others from that collection that would have been better choices, the bag is cute though. Excited that shes in Paris t his week though.
