BLAKE LIVELY won't be following Kate Moss to design her own collection, despite having followed the supermodel to become a Chanel muse. The Gossip Girl actress says it should be left to the professionals.

"I've been asked about that," she said, "but I have such a respect for fashion and such an appreciation for it that, if there are people like Karl Lagerfeld out there designing, who am I?"

The actress - who was in Paris during Fashion Week for a Chanel dinner hosted by Karl Lagerfeld in her honour - added that she's not taking her fashionable life for granted.

"It's definitely a good way to live," she told WWD. "I feel like I should only live a few weeks if every day was like today because it's just too much happiness - I might combust."
