Blue eye makeup S/S 08

I like the subtle hint of blue, like at Rodarte and Three As Four with the eyelashes. And the dramatic Proenza look is great for the runway!

I love it. I think it has to be done carefully though, as it can easily look like a black eye.

I can't really wear eye make up. I work now and have dry eyes. I use restasis (Which is basically THE prescription eye drops to use if you have dry eyes) and even then my eyes still feel like a desert sometimes. I rub them a lot so even the little bit of mascara I wear leaves me looking like a raccoon at the end of the day if I'm not careful.

I used to wear blue eyeliner when I was in college. I've since used up or lost that eye pencil.

I use mostly MAC (with some Primer underneath) Colors are Freshwater, Deep Truth, Parrot, Big T, Bang on Blue, Fade and Vellum. Then one of the Teals is also Cargo Smokey Eyes in Barcelona, the light iridescent turquoise is Lancôme Color Design #703, the pale matte blue is Stila Peacock. That should be it I think

I agree the right one looks awesome! although the left one looks good too! good to know one can wear blue mascara for brown eyes

I like Rodarte, Anna Sui, and Rag and Bone's looks, but I think blue eyeshadow is alittle tricky. It looks so exotic if done right, but usually when I try it, I either look like a drag queen or like a corpse. I might try a subtle color wash this summer though...maybe in a pale blue.

Blue color eye shadow looks very beautiful if it is moderately done, some people just overdo their e/s, which end up looking clowny. And I must say that you shouln't get out of the house looking like the models from the Dior F/W 08.09

I liked Marni blue.But this color is hard to carry and it looks better on blue and green eyes.

ambidextrous: im jelaous you still have parrot, that color is hard to find anywhere.

I usually do brown smokey eyes but I was going to see blue man group and I thought it would be fun to do blue eyes. My look was similar to that in #9 but the glitter was shimmer. I have vincent longo creme blue eyeshadow and I use powder day to day so I had trouble with that but overall I think it came out well. I liked it but it was too much for every night.
