Not so keen on the baby blues, however i love the royal blue and navy. I've bought quite a lot of it recently.

Blue is Beautiful!

The baby blue colors are alright. I actually find some respect for ice blue and baby blue colors.

I'd like to share some favorites (as I usually do).

* About my least favorite blues are some of those bluish silver colors, unless they are for dressy outfits like in Post #29 (the 1st, 5th, and 7th pictures). And I know this is for a fashion show, but I'd completely avoid laced shoes with those outfits. Post #33 features a dress from Douglas Hannant that I like. The blue is kind of like Kentucky Wildcats' blue.

* While the first picture from the Emporio Armani pictures (Post #34) isn't the sort of rich blue I normally like, I love the dress as well as all the adornments with it. This is something you'd probably wear on a sunny day in the park. It's beautifully cute. The dress I REALLY love from all the ones on this page is the Allegra Hicks dress.

* People say that tops and dresses with sleeves like the blue Allegra Hicks dress (Post #34) are a fashion Don't (according to the 2006 Glamour Magazine "Top 50 Do's and Don'ts"), but I've never hated these sleeves. In fact, when I was younger reading through sale papers, I found these sleeves and shirts to be very stylish and lovely. Especially when it was one of those puffy sleeves with ruffled cuffs. The dress itself is beautiful. Everything about it. I love the blue color as well as well as the blue stockings. I would probably go with white stockings or tights (not the "footless tights") to offset the blue colors. The blue colors themselves are perfect for me. It's the royal blue or sapphire blue that is just perfect for me to wear if I were a lady. But if I went with the sandals the model is wearing, I'd probably look for a blue pair of sandals similar to the color of the dress. Black wouldn't be a bad choice for sandals to this dress either.

* Finally, my favorite hue of blue is expressed in Post #36 by Costume National. I love the rich blue color as well as the texture. The matching, furry collar is in the same lovely color, though I probably wouldn't go with a top that has a lightweight fabric with a heavier furry collar.

Blue is a beautiful color. It's really good people are coming up with ways to make blue stylish, especially the blue colors I've loved. Not indigo, not purple, not aquamarine, not torquoise... but blue. I'm just thinking that I've loved blue colors and not certain variations not in the general blue category.
