This was a big trend in Seoul when I was there a few weeks ago. I bought a couple of skirts with 'patch-work' pockets and they've been great. Its the bain of my life that I never have pockets and my boyfriend always does. I guess that allows me to buy bags thou....

^ me too mullet! I am sort of looking for a semi-gothic dress..... a bit similar to the dress marina perez wore for the finale of the marc by marc jacobs f/w 05 show....... but less puffy........ with black fishnets.... and pockets.......

yes, I also love this idea to at last have some right place to put my poor hands~I usually wear some coat with pockets with my dress when I want to be more comfortable

great trend spotting saann..this is spot on! i just picked up a pocketed shirt dress from club monaco, pic below. i too like the 'slouch' pockets add to a dress

I think dresses with pockets are a great idea, beautiful. Im an odd one, I dont like seeing hands flailing around when girls/women are in dresses, this just works out well for my eyes.

Funny, when I was turning my wardrobe around, I found few print dresses with pockets. And they were from my moms teenage years Soviet Union did it first !

mango has this amazing dress with pocket in lovely red colour and ruffle detailing. And it's cheap too..If you go to the mango site and view spring collection it's 31st outfit. I it.

I like the dresses with pockets, means I don't have to worry about lugging around my purse.

I think the pockets add a slouch factor that I find really appealing right now. I'm crazy about dresses too. So this is a trend I like. But I won't really seek it out. I have a few vintage dresses with pockets (some ridiculously voluminous, but hey) and that'll work for me.

i have two or three skirts with pockets and i start to feel strange wearing skirts (or pants) without pockets, but i never owned or even thought about dresses with pockets. the examples in this thread look tempting though..

seems to me like H&M has a really good and varied selection. i wish we had that store here
