Blumarine S/S 2009 : Natasha Poly by Craig McDean

the collection was loads of fun, the concept here is nice but i'm SO EFFING SICK of her face. i can't stand that look of hers.

somebody send a note to Blumarine.... theres a RECESSION... those are not clothe seller ads =/

mmh. i liked the past season's ads more. I love her for Blumarine, for the constrast between her strong face and the softness and girlyness of the clothes, but her hair&make up don't do very well here, imo.

this is fun two italian brands are playing tribute to the antic period ...
politically talking ... i don't know what to think about this ...
anyway ....

the concept is nice ... but i'm not sure this reflects exactly the collection ... there were some drapé ... sure ... but this was not all about this, wasn't it ?
i was waiting for something more bucolique ... here it's like Ferreti reinvented the grace of Antiquity .... Vionnet did ... I'm not sure Alberta did this season ...

I think the campain is a miss ....

although I love Natasha to death, I'm not really feeling this campaign. everything about it is kind of awkward...the pose, expression,... I don't know something is off:huh:
but thanks for scanning gossiping:flower:

great ad! Love how Natasha looks.

It's such a shame. I saw what I think is the full set of campaign images in February's US Harper's Bazaar and the styling was just exceptional. Each and every dress looked gorgeous and exceptionally made. My credit card was vibrating at the full-length dress. Then I look up at the model and what do I see...? Some girl who looks like she's ready to take a butcher knife to my face.

I don't get it.

oh please scan someone! i can't wait, i love this season! :)

:buzz: natasha! looks gorgeous in the one from UK VOGUE.

Looks great!
I love how her pose looks intense and perfectly fits in with the setting.

Although, I don't know why Blumarine goes for this fierce image, when their clothes and image are totally girly...

I am not exactly sure of the concept. Having the model pose in front of the sculpture and obscure it, it really doesn't create an association with the work. It would have been no different if she was just in a bare studio. This is making me think of gucci from a season or two ago that used sculpture a lot better

Thats a great set. Thanks for posting.
I don't know how to say it exactly but I love that the iamges are not so sharp. It's sort of soft around the edges. I hope I make sense.

i love this campaign, Poly looks ferosh. striking poses. Blumarine has never had better campaign
