Bob Dylan

Figured I could bump this for a while... just finished his Chronicles the other day.. and.... absolutely fantastic.. he's so honest.. but never serves himself with that honesty or gives his entire self away to get his point across.. I just feel like I understand his career a little more.. his approach to life that is so modest and so human despite the rollarcoaster he went through in the 60s.. I'm so taken by him, by his lyrics.. can't wait to read the next volumes of this..

and just for a little entertainment..

I could watch this forever...(esp. 3:50)

Ah brilliant! Thanks a lot for that Mullet! :flower: He is so fiercely intelligent..

* I love at 8:30.. they actually do insert the song in.

^ I know, I love that.
he's so smart it's intimidating, same for his sense of humour.. I can understand why people end up asking him such obnoxious questions all the time.. I'd just go blank too if I had him right in front of me. :p

.. I've been meaning to buy tickets for his upcoming show in september.. I wanted to ask my 60-something year-old boss to come with me because we talk about Dylan a lot ... but it's probably gonna be kinda awkward.. bleh. -_-

I loved that phase of him.. when he settled with his family in the countryside.. he did look pretty handsome..

and no, I've never seen him live :( .. have you?. I've only been into him for a few years now and planning on seeing him ever since but I always miss him.. I guess I take him for granted somehow and don't make enough effort, I feel like if I don't see him this year, I might as well go to the next one.. not taking into account that at some point or another, there won't be a 'next one'. I'm fatalist, maybe.. it could work as an incentive. :p

Thanks for posting that video, Johnny Cash + Bob Dylan = perfection !

he's so amazing! I saw him live last year and its definitely not your typical concert highlt recommend it...
Mulletproof - I agree with you about chronicles, he shares just enough to keep you entertained and mesmerised by him. I love how he basically started writting songs for a girl....

I'm seeing him for the second time in less than a month! I'm semi-near the front....ahhhhhh!

Bob Dylan will release a new studio album next month.

The ten-song effort will surface in late April, reports Rolling Stone, and is reported to feature his touring band plus David Hidalgo of Los Lobos on accordion.

Dylan has produced the album himself under his usual pseudonym, Jack Frost.

Song titles include 'Beyond Here Lies Nothin', 'If You Ever Go To Houston', 'This Dream Of You', 'My Wife's Home Town' and 'It's All Good'.

The album will be his first studio effort since 2006's 'Modern Times'.

He was so hot when he was younger (is that wierd?)!

I've always loved Bob. My fave album is probably Blonde on Blonde
